About the programme
As a result of the ever-increasing geo-political challenges to global business, managers need to be internationally oriented and equipped with cultural competences as well as managerial skills.
This master gathers participants from all over the world to prepare for a successful international business career in a wide range of sectors and functions, in a multi-cultural business environment. You will be provided with the knowledge, social skills and business attitude required to enter global businesses and organizations.
Our purpose is to educate responsible, respectful and reflective future managers with an open and global mind, ready for entering global businesses and organizations. We value context and broader understanding as the basis for a critical mind– this is why this master starts with a retreat on comparative global history and philosophy.
The Master in Global Management is taught in an interactive way. You will actively participate in class discussions, analyze business cases and prepare business presentations. During your year, you will participate in some international trips to see how businesses work in an international context and see theory in action. The trip to Brazil is particularly illuminating as you will experience first-hand the challenges and opportunities of operating in a developing market and how this drives the decisions made by large organizations.
The Master in Global Management combines intercultural immersion, business practice projects and a state-of-the-art classroom experience to set you on track for an international career. This program reflects the tight interlinkage of international political, social and economic issues that managers need to understand in order to deliver value for their companies and society as a whole.
“My 10 months at Antwerp Management School might have given me many sleepless nights of long reading and case studies, team projects and problem-solving, but it also gave me my dream career, some incredible friendships, and belief in myself that I can actually do anything I put my mind to if I have the right resources. Granted, the cultural vibrancy of Antwerp and the nearby regions helped the process along quite nicely, but I definitely left a piece of my heart at AMS.“
